Project Evaluation

The Computer Science Collaborative Project Evaluation, conducted by Evaluation & Research Associates (ERA), will focus on the implementation and impact of the CSC Project model on three levels: the effectiveness of the training and support at the national level; the regional collaboration networks; and the project’s impact on participating programs. To measure the impact of the CSC Project model, to improve project activities, and to report to project leadership and the National Science Foundation, ERA will investigate the following questions related to the project’s goals:

  1. How is the CSC Project being implemented?
  2. To what extent and how does the CSC Project model create a network and impact collaboration between CSC Project participants and with computer science programs and organizations?
  3. How are CSC Project participants affected by the project’s emphasis on reaching underrepresented youth in computer science?
  4. To what extent do CSC Project participants have increased access to shared resources, especially those related to serving underrepresented youth in computer science?
  5. To what extent do K-12 programs participating in CSC Project have increased access to and use of exemplary practices related to serving underrepresented youth in CS?
