STEM After-School Workshop

At Eye Level of Centreville, we strive to bring unique and interesting programs to the community. Students who have attended our STEM workshops LOVED them and have been asking to work on the unique projects again. So, we are bringing it back.

Children LOVE to tinker - they are natural explorers and full of curiosity. They ask a million questions about how things work - why is the sky blue? how does the clock move? how do I make slime? Can you eat plants? Why do I need to learn writing? how does math help anyone? Of course, as proud parents, we hear these questions and are quick to give them an answer (sometimes with lengthy explanations).

At Eye Level of Centreville, we do things just a tiny bit differently!

No ready made answers here - in our STEM workshops - we say, "Let's find out!", Let's take apart that calculator - what's inside it? let's look inside a clock - how does it tick? make a robot clean your room - hum! now how do we do that? how about we build one!
