KID Museum

KID Museum is a new kind of museum serving children and families in the greater Washington, DC area. KID Museum offers unique, maker experiences for elementary and middle school-aged children that integrates hands-on science, technology, engineering, art and math learning with an exploration of world cultures and global citizenship.

KID Museum is open 7 days per week for STEM and arts programming for school day visits, after-school programs, weekends, summer and daily camps, events and more. They also offer activities for pre-school students, and a high school apprenticeship program. Additionally, they offer a wide-range of professional development opportunities for educators.

KID Museum's current site at Davis Library in Bethesda, Maryland provides the community with programs and workshops on weekends and after school. It is a first step toward the museum's vision of a larger, permanent home in Montgomery County, focused on empowering the next generation to invent the future with creativity and compassion. Visit the KID Museum website to learn more about the offered programs. Watch this video to see what educators, kids and others have to say about KID's unique, maker-based programs.
