Spokane County Library District is pleased to offer a FREE training in Leap into Science Balance Workshops. Leap into Science is a nationwide program from The Franklin Institute Science Museum that integrates open-ended science activities with children’s books, designed for children ages 3-10 and their families. These activities are designed for community settings, like libraries, museums, and out-of-school time programs.
Who? Teams of two or more educators from the same organization
When? Friday, May 11 9:30am-2pm (lunch provided)
Where? The Lab at North Spokane Library 44 E Hawthorne Rd, Spokane WA 99208
Each team of educators will receive:
- Access to high-quality science and literacy curriculum
- A kit of materials valued at $300
- Access to the Leap into Science online resources
- Ongoing support and participation in the Leap into Science National Network
